About the Beach

What is Praia do Vale Covo Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Lagoa.

Praia do Vale Covo Beach has a small sand and is located in a cove facing southwest.
The sea waters are calm due to the cliffs protection. About 55 meters off shore there's an islet standing in the landscape.
In the east there's a cave with an enormous entrance arch.
At this beach there's a diving center.
The access goes through a stairway on the west side.
