About the Beach

What is Praia do Mato Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Lagoa.

Praia do Mato Beach has a small sized sand with the shape of a seashell and surrounded by a cliff.
At west there are three caves: two large ones with wide arches on the entrance and other one of smaller dimensions.
Further east, exist clear signs of old landslides and on the cliff's edge base, there's an arch where's possible to swim through or pass with a small boat.
The access is via sea.
