About the Beach

What is Praia das Fontainhas Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Lagoa.

Praia das Fontainhas Beach presents a small sand with the shape of a seashell.
It's located in a narrow cove flanked by the two cliff's opposite ends which seem to have been sawn by human hands because of their geometrical appearance.
Sea waters are calm and limpid.
The way down to the beach is guaranteed by a dirt trail through the cliff.

    La playa es muy feo, hay mucha basura y gente me robó. Tambien conozco a amigos con la misma experienca... hay muchas criminales

    Very bad for camping, the police checks very often and a lot of people had to pay 250€

    a lot of stealing happens here, they broke into my camping car and i heard that things get stolen even at the beach.
