About the Beach

What is Praia da Grilheria Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Lagoa.

Praia da Grilheria Beach is located on a small sized cove, accessed exclusively by sea.
The sand is extremely small and extends a bit to a cave's interior on the east side.
At west there are rocks coming from regular landslides from the cliff.
High tide immerses the whole sand, therefore, it's recommended special caution to tidal periods by those who wish to visit this beach.
