It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Lagoa.

Praia da Cova Redonda Beach, also known as Praia do Vila Lara Beach or Praia das Gaivotas Beach, has a medium size sand and calm waters.
At the top of the cliff, the Vilalara Thalassa Resort gives its nickname to this beach.
At east, about 30 meters from the shoreline there's a huge rock with the shape of a whale standing on the landscape.
The access goes through a long stairway made of stone, at the west side.
