It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Grândola.

Praia de Melides Beach has a wide and long sand and the sea is calm and of a light blue color. The dune system is in good conditions due to the wooden walkways protecting it.
At east, the pinewood's green carries a countryside breeze. Here solely a thin strip of sand separates Lagoa de Melides1 from the Atlantic Ocean waters.
The access is done by Estrada de Sines1, always along the lagoon.
