It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Figueira da Foz.

Praia da Cova Gala (North) Beach is located in the sea front of Cova Gala village.
An extensive sand is divided into three areas by four equidistant piers.
A dune system protected by wooden walkways gets wider at north.
The strong coastal erosion has been a very serious problem for this beach.
There's a support car parking in the south part, near a football field.
