About the Beach

What is Praia de Fão Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Esposende.

Praia de Fão Beach discloses a generous sand and an extensive dune system along its all length. There's a pier bounding it to the south.
A very impressive dune system welcomes first time visitors with a surprise factor.
To the east, the forest brings a rural environment mingling with sea air.
This beach is very attended by tourists and is the favorite of the guests of Parque de Campismo de Fão.
Access is done along Rua António Aires1, after turning west from Estrada Nacional 132 to Rua Artur Sobral2.
