It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Cascais.

Praia da Poça Beach, also known as Praia de São João do Estoril Beach, has a thin and long sand. The sea waters are calm and have lots of immersed rocks.
The west area is filled with rock formations that difficult bathing.
At the center, a large ramp highlights from the sand and divides it into two.
Further east, beside the rocky slabs, may be seen the 1 at the eastern end.
Car parking is on top of the cliff beside Avenida António Marques1 Leal.
