It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Caminha.

Praia do Forte do Cão Beach, also known as Praia do Fortim do Cão Beach, has a medium sized sand with the presence of rock formations in the south.
Here, is erected the 1 built between 1699 and 1702, having its rating of "Public Interest Property" assigned in 1967.
To the east extends the Mata National da Gelfa2.
This beach is frequented by users from the campsite.
