It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Almada.

Praia da Nova Vaga Beach presents a medium sized sand located at Medos Sul geographic unit.
Dunes are interrupted by the wooden walkway coming from the beach bar to the bathing area. It's less crowded than the neighbor beaches.
For being a beach away from the most accessible ones it became a known place for the practice of kitesurf.
Sea waters provide good conditions for surfing, therefore attracting its fans.
This is train stop number 17 of the , a mini train that follows along the beaches.
