About the Beach

What is Praia da Barradinha Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Aljezur.

Praia da Barradinha Beach presents a bottom composed by pebbles and rocks and chopped by a few small strips of sand. It's located at the mouth of a small valley.
At the central area, empties a small stream that divides the beach in half.
The cliffs surrounding the beach are of a rocky nature.
The access is eased by a wooden stairway built in the north scarp.
